It’s safe to say that life is feeling very gloomy at the moment. It’s definitely going to get worse before it gets better. I don’t think many people doubt that.



A patient today resigned themselves to having to spend the next 12 weeks self-isolation as they now fall into the ‘vulnerable’ category of patients. Two days ago his daughter, whom he hadn’t spoken to in over 5 years, got in touch to make sure he was ok. My patient was happy to say that this amazing outcome alone has made the situation bearable.

The storm clouds may be gathering but don’t forget to look for the silver linings.
