Dr Peter Butcher

Peter was born and raised in the Grantham area. He qualified at the University of Leeds in 2001 and joined the Maltings Dental Practice in 2006, becoming a Partner in 2011.

Peter enjoys providing all aspects of general dentistry for his patients. He has a special interest in root canal treatment (endodontics) and has completed a postgraduate diploma in this subject. This enables him to complete complex cases referred to him from colleagues within the Maltings Dental Practice and practices in the surrounding towns and cities.

Peter has additionally received training enabling him to treat patients whose dentists are unable to diagnose the source of their pain.

Peter also provides dental implants and undertakes complex oral surgery procedures.

Peter is a member of the British Endodontic Society, the American Association of Endodontists, the International team for Implantology and the Facility of General Dental Practitioners.

Peter has been an Educational Supervisor for Foundation Dental Training since 2016. 

He spends the majority of his free time taking his children to football training, walking and gardening.
