Dr Marta Bugowska-Clarke

Marta qualified from Medical University of Warsaw in Poland in 2001. Following qualification she worked in Oral Surgery Department at a very busy multi-disciplinary Specialist Referral Centre in Warsaw. She became interested in Oral Surgery and undertook a number of postgraduate courses including: Implantology, Management of temporo-mandibular joint disorders and oro-facial trauma.

Marta has successfully completed a five-year specialist training programme and has been awarded a title of the Specialist in Oral Surgery( Poland, 2008). In 2010 she became a General Dental Council Registered Specialist in Oral Surgery.

Since July 2009, she has been working as a Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham providing surgical treatment under local and general anaesthesia. She joined The Maltings Dental Practice team in July 2010 providing Minor Oral Surgery sessions- surgical procedures under local anaesthetic.

Dedicated to quality of patients’ care, she spends many hours ensuring that she is up to date with the latest evidence base available.

Outside of work she enjoys a variety of sports and spending time with her young family.
