Claire was born and raised in the Grantham area. She qualified at the University of Leeds in 2010 with a clinical distinction and joined the Maltings Dental Practice in 2012 after some time working in the Bradford area.

Claire enjoys providing all aspects of general dentistry for her patients. Claire has a special interest in the treatment of periodontal disease. She has undertaken in depth further training in this area and is currently working towards her Diploma in Periodontics with a specialist team in London.

 

Claire also enjoys restorative and aesthetic dentistry and has completed a postgraduate certificate in this subject in 2019 . She is also able to offer her patients Anterior Aesthetic Orthodontics which allows patients the opportunity to significantly improve their smiles without the need for significant tooth preparation enabling us to improve smiles in a conservative manner. She is able to provide Inman Aligners and Clear Aligners and transform smiles with the align, bleach and bond technique which is ultra conservative of tooth tissue.

 

Claire is also fully trained in Bioclear Composites which can be used as an alternative to veneers and crowns with great aesthetics, longevity, and minimal tooth reduction.

Claire has been approved by the Health Education East Midlands to be an Educational Supervisor for Foundation Dental Training and is heavily involved in the career progression and mentoring for newly graduated dentists at the practice.



Outside work Claire is busy raising her young family and enjoys playing netball and walking her dog.
